QE2 Brunch

When we visited the dinner buffet at Lidu, I spoke with Shahin, who initially told me that the buffet included a 20% discount for check-in guests. However, when I received the bill, Shahin changed his statement and said the discount did not apply to the buffet. This inconsistency and apparent misinformation was very disappointing. Upon checking with the reservation, the discount was supposed to include the buffet as well. Unfortunately, we had to pay the full price. Despite this, the service from Mya and Chef Khit was exceptional. Mya was attentive, frequently checked on our table, and ensured we had everything we needed. Chef Khit was also helpful, explaining the buffet options and suggesting dishes he thought we would enjoy. Read more

Pleasant attentive service in this self-service restaurant. However, although there was a wide selection of nice, well cooked and prepared hot food, it was almost exclusively cold. Disappointing and careless. It doesn’t matter how attentive the service, or how nice the food, if it’s not kept hot it’s all below standard. Read more

Staying at the QE 2 on business. Hotel is a great experience. Food selection for breakfast and dinner is very good value. I would like to specifically thank hospitality to David Tamang who works in the Lido restaurant. I received a fantastic service from this young man.
